Paper guy wasn't there...No stack of newspapers...no milk crate...nothing.

Wear your black arm band.

I saw some guy behind me open his driver side door while we were stopped at a red light. Suddenly, liquid flowed down onto the asphalt...not sure if it was coffee or vomit...it was nasty looking either way.

I will be flying to NYC for a conference tomorrow...see you Wednesday.

High winds!! You could really feel it on the upper deck of the Tobin Bridge today...Being from the Merrimack Valley, I wasn't familiar with the Tobin growing up...I think I was in my 20s when I finally went over it.

Thoughts: I didn't understand how tall the bridge was in my youth...so I found it confusing that people chose to jump off the Tobin to commit suicide, especially since it was above water...Now knowing how tall it really is, water will not soften your fall...no matter how soft the Mystic River is...

Toll Booth operators have become increasingly more friendly in the past few months...it is a bit unsettling.

Let’s hope Paper Guy is back next week...I would hate for him to become a blog footnote...Plus, I have no ideas for a replacement in my daily rundown...

PLEASE PAPER GUY...COME BACK!

Until Paper Guy comes back, I will wear a black arm band. He better be back next week. Today, I drove by and the milk crate was flipped over. It's a sad scene, folks.

The community service crew was out on Storrow Drive in their fluorescent green shirts carrying large trash bags...thankfully not holding up traffic.

Hoping Paper Guy is relaxing on a sandy beach somewhere...

No, not Wollaston.

A good hump day drive. Nothing too out of the ordinary. I should put together a list of rules for Boston Morning Commuting.

Rule 1: Everybody's in a hurry -- Respect that fact.

Rule 2: Never snooze at a light

Rule 3: If you are slow, stay right.

More to come.....
