We had a few people fall on the ice today at the train station. One woman fell while climbing the slope to the platform. She was ok. She asked me where she could buy a commuter rail pass. She also almost forgot her keys and her phone on the ice.
There was another woman down when I got to the platform. She was in worse condition. People tried to slow the train down so snow wouldn't blow in her face. The train didn't slow down much.
Emergency vehicles came to help her out and our train got delayed a bit while they tended to her.
The rest of the ride was problem free. Once I got to Boston and tried to walk on the sidewalks, it was a different story. There were lots of sidewalks cleared but you still need to jump over banks to get to them from the streets.
It's slow going out there.
