My wife wanted me to fill up the other car with gasoline last night but I forgot. I remembered this morning and pronounced my idiocy out loud as I was about to leave the house.
I took the other car out, put gas in it, and came back home.
I then drove my car to the station - I had to take the later train.
It's my own fault. Nobody's fault but mine.
